‘GPRN/NSCN’ on recent arrests morungexpress

Dimapur : The “GPRN/NSCN” has clarified on the recent “arrests” made on December 16 and 18. “If killings, as Hebron camp believes, could serve the purpose of the Nagas, Hutovi Chishi, tatar, Imcha Longkumer, joint secretary, and their lady friend, who were arrested on 16th December would have met their end the same evening”, stated a note issued by the outfit’s ‘publicity cell’. Pointing out that if “Tribalism and communal agenda ruled GPRN/NSCN, Ms. Salem Tangkhul, chairperson, NSWON and two of her staffs arrested on 18th December would not have seen another day”.
The note from the ‘GRPRN/NSCN’ clarified that the “arrested officials are detained not for their individual crimes, not for the communities they belong but because they represent the institution that is killing too many innocent Nagas, without any compunction, to sustain the so-called National principle”. The publicity cell note stated that the “arrested officials” as the “GPRN/NSCN understood, are victims of Hebron politics”. “It is therefore reminded to all the concerned that the period of detention of Hebron officials is purely the prerogative of the GPRN/NSCN”.
The outfit expressed its ‘sympathy for the pain and anguish caused to families, relatives and friends of Hebron camp officials who are presently under the custody of Naga Army’. “To a mere observer, it may be viewed as gross injustice inflicted upon fellow Christians particularly at a time when entire humanity awaits the birthday of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. Some may say the arrests and detentions are contrary to principles of reconciliation and unification among the Nagas. Yet, the dastardly actions of Hebron campers in the preceding weeks were too dangerous to be ignored. Thus, it regretfully forced the Naga Army out of its shell”, the note asserted.
The “GPRN/NSCN” also drew the attention of families, friends and various organizations seeking immediate release of the detained officials “whether the pain and horror experienced by Theja Kent Rengma’s wife and children on 9th December, when the father was pulled out from under the bed and shot dead in cold blood, is less painful in any manner”. “Can the children forget their father’s dying look? Who will take the blame? Who ordered the attack on unarmed Naga Army cadres near petrol pump at 3rd mile on 15th December?” the note questioned while adding that such “actions are nothing but a clampdown on genuine reconciliatory expressions”.
“The dead shall never rise up and comfort the living. Only the living must either suffer silently or seek justice for the crime perpetrated”, it stated while pointing out that the ‘GPRN/NSCN’ did not wish to retaliate through killings yet when outmost restraint is taken as a sign of weakness, it will not lie down.
“GPRN will not rest so long as the wailings of widows and orphans rent the air. Political Solution, Freedom, Sovereignty, Independence, Interdependence, Self determination of the Nagas people etc., is best enjoyed by parents and children together and not by widows and orphans alone in a killing-ravaged Christian nation. This is the principle stand of GPRN/NSCN”, it stated.
The ‘GPRN/NSCN’ acknowledged the concern of Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL), Tangkhul Katamnao Long (TKL), Tangkhul Shanao Long (TSL) etc., on the arrest of Ms. Salem, Chairperson of NSWON and her two staffs. “GPRN/NSCN recognizes that while Ms. Salem is a woman yet, she holds a cabinet status position at Hebron Camp and is a part and parcel of the group holding at ransom the idea of Naga Reconciliation and Unification”, it stated. The ‘GPRN/NSCN’ pointed out that it was “worth reminding” to all Tangkhul Organisations that “when so many innocent Nagas are killed or tortured to death on a regular basis, they are expected to, as responsible organizations, voice their concern irrespective of tribe or region”. “GPRN/NSCN has much respect for all Tangkhul Organizations but the stark reality dawns on all the Nagas that Tangkhul community, as a whole, have been victimized to a great extend with no question asked or answer sought. Parents who raise spoilt brats in the society burden themselves more”.
The ‘GPRN/NSCN’ stated that “regretfully, the brouhaha of the redundant Indo-Naga political talks still has its hold over many Naga community leaders completely numbing their inquisitive instinct in the process” and that the “philosophy of rampant killing in the name of National Principle does not exist anywhere in the world”. “Can the Nagas effort to allow it? God, the creator of Nagaland will not be pleased if we do nothing even when innocent Nagas are mercilessly killed for believing in Reconciliation and Unity of the Nagas”.
Fund scam: CBI raids Indian Museum again Express News Service

Kolkata Once again, the Indian Museum — the biggest storehouse of artefacts in the country — has come under the scanner of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The anti-corruption branch of the CBI conducted a raid at the museum premises on Friday and found documents, which revealed that the museum authorities had siphoned off funds allocated for upgrading and shifting the library and creating a gallery.
The works were performed only on paper and never took place in reality.
The sleuths interrogated several officials of the museum during the raid and seized some documents. Residents of some officers, including the retired ones, were also raided by a CBI team.
According to CBI sources, the misappropriation of funds dates back to 2006, when an office of the Anthropological Society of India housed in the Spirit Building of the museum was vacated. The museum authorities had then passed a proposal to upgrade and shift the library from the ground floor of the building.
“However, Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh earmarked for the purpose was spent only on paper. Neither the library was shifted nor the gallery was created,” said a CBI officer.
The CBI also found that in 2006, the museum authorities bought 25 computers and scanners as a part of its upgradation and modernisation plan. However, the payment for purchasing the computers was done in US dollars instead of rupees.
“No tenders were issued and 25 computers and scanners were purchased at a very high rate. Moreover, the computers were bought from a private company which was also involved in other cases of misappropriation of funds,” the officer added.
This is not the first time that the Central agency is probing graft cases related with the museum.
In September 2007, the CBI raided the museum several times unearthing a scam that involved misappropriation of funds to the tune of Rs 18 crore between 2004 and 2006.
The fund was meant for renovation of the Indian Museum, National Library, Rabindra Bharati University Library and Gurusaday Museum in West Bengal and for improvement of the state museums of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Assam Sankardev Kalakshetra Museum, Guwahati.
The agency says that the latest misappropriation of funds could be linked with the previous ones.

CBI begins investigation into Asom serial blasts Sentinel
By our Staff Reporter
GUWAHATI, Dec 19: The CBI today formally took charge of the investigation into the October 30 serial blasts in the State. A team from the CBI today held detailed discussions with a team of the Assam Police, which handed over all the relevant documents to the investigative agency. Serial blasts had rocked Guwahati, Kokrajhar, Barpeta Road and Bongaigaon on November 30, leaving 91 dead.
The Assam Police had formed a Special Investigative Team (SIT) to probe the serial blasts. This team will assist the CBI till it becomes acquainted with the case.
DGP GM Srivatava today informed The Sentinel that a 15-20-member team of the CBI would be reaching the State tomorrow. He felt the government has made the right decision to hand over the case to the CBI as the State police has certain limitations. “A lot of external forces could be involved in the blasts and a CBI inquiry will be more beneficial as its influence is greater,” he said.
Srivastava said, “The main thing is that the culprits should be arrested. It is secondary as to who investigates the case. The SIT has progressed a lot in two cases, though we are lagging behind in a few areas as eight of the accused have already fled the State.”
NATIONAL EULOGY Dr.T.Aonok Morung
She was a beautiful country from mountains to shining green mountains…. Nagaland THE GREAT… Nagaland THE BRAVE HEAD-HUNTER (not today). Her soldiers were faithful, her clergy served with honor. Her government was one of the best in the east with freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and more. She was a great Democratic Republic, who opened her arms to the weak, the persecuted, the downtrodden. Her morals were of sterling quality. She did house evil-doers, traitors and madmen within her borders; still the world looked upon her as a predominantly Christian nation, a nation that covenanted to sent out ten thousand missionaries (volunteers), helped the poor, guided the misguided. Moral sickness and SIN did infiltrate her at the beginning, though overall she held strongly to truth, much was to her favor….. until she turned from Jesus to worship the gods of humanism and materialism. Alas, the Eagle and the Hornbill has fallen.
Liberty and justice for all allowed her sickness to spread, ever to the head and heart. She had ‘liberty and justice’, tolerance and compassion towards what the Lord calls ‘ABOMINATION’! Nagaland the GREAT - now Nagaland the fallen. Weep for her. Weep for her children who will be without a mother. Nagaland the great, Nagaland the beautiful, she locked God out of the Family, Church, and State. Nagaland, she has gone to the grave.

The disgrace of capitulation
We are living in FEARFUL times – Times of capitulation on every hand. Webster’s New World Dictionary defines Capitulation as follows: “to give up (to an enemy) on prearranged conditions, surrender conditionally, to give up; stop resisting.” The Family unit has capitulated to the spoiled and violent Children; The Church to the Perversion Movement; the State to the whims of the anti-Christian warriors.
Nagaland is overrun by sex perverts, drug pushers, God haters, the vile entertainment media, and animals of every persuasion. Nagas need a stern aggressive agenda to eradicate (or at least curb) the satanic elements within this nation’s borders; for a clear, precise agenda is the only remedy to stay any further capitulation. And the agenda must be a spiritual revolution: a repentance that leads to holy living. Sadly, we know only a few individuals will heed this call. The nation as a whole is already dead-past the turning point. Do not look for national repentance. A corpse cannot repent. However, as I said, a few souls are not partaking of the corpse’s death: pray they will rise up, and pray that the remnant few who are near death will be quickened unto life before it’s too late.

WICKED RULERS.
Evil controls the Nagaland state. “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn” (Proverbs 29:2). How many thousands are mourning at the present state of affairs in this land? I say thousands, not millions, because FEW are those who love the TRUTH and hate INIQUITY! Indeed, Nagas embrace every ABOMINATION: sodomy, abortion(murder) drug / alcohol consumption and sales, witchcraft, idolatry, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness (filthy and wanton vices), hatred, variance(contention), emulation(malice), wrath, strife, sedition, heresy, envy, murder (such as unjust war, etc), reveling, pride, foolishness, fraud, lying, cheating, gambling(even in the churches), bearing false witness and innumerable others.
Think of the diverse transgressions that people commit every second of every minute, every minute of every hour, every hour of every day. Seven days a week, month after month, year after year…… and realize the judgment is stacking pile upon pile. Think of the elected officials, church leaders and political figures, who have sold Nagaland down the river hundreds of times over. Think of the broken-hearted men and women who love God – men and women who have watched this nation capitulation to sin for fame and for fortune top to the down. Yes, think of the soul-torn moms and dads whose children have become dupes to this sick society which allows, even promotes, horrific violence through the mediums of TV, movies, the printed page, and music. Satanic filth is everywhere. Meanwhile, men censor God’s word. Just glance at the graveyards, the testimonies to this macabre reality.
Nagaland is a drug, alcohol, Illicit-sex-cursed society … and imitations of Hollywood, along with Washington D.C , consents to every whim of it. However, the most sick and shocking point of all is that nine-tenths of the professed Christians vote for rulers who are not only wicked, but who even pledge to do wickedly, “ Christians” vote for rulers who pledge to TRAMPLE underfoot Godly principles, which have long been a blessing to Nagaland “Christians” are reprobate, loathsome, WRETCHED BEYOND WORDS!
Listen closely, you “believers” God holds you responsible for every appalling vice that now rages beyond control, because you had the spiritual authority to damn up the impending tidal waves of sin, but you did not. You who rule in church, you who lead the state, you are the instruments, the abettors of sins that DAMN a nation. You have ruined one generation after another, now we have a new millennium that you will continue to sell to Satan. You are impregnated with BLASPHEMY, CRUELTY, DEBAUCHERY!! You are GUILTY of the blood of the innocents, tears and bloods have stained your national garments. “Weep and howl for the miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are cankered, and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire!”(James 5:1-3). Hell of hells awaits everyone who laughs at God’s word, winks, and sins.
How many souls will slip into the fires of HELL while evil, God-hating rulers prevent the glories Gospel of Christ from being preached in Government locales? Doubtless, private expostulation with an evil-doer is rare, while public rebuke of public sins is almost unheard of, whether in or out of the church. The more vile the sin and more wretched the sinner, the more praise and honor is heard. Nagaland, you have sold your soul to the Devil! You have surrendered your Godly heritage for temporal reward.
“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? It is therefore good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden underfoot of men.” (Mtt 5:13). Read verse 10 and 12 and you will understand the impact of the verse 13. Jesus is addressing the issue of persecutions: Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake’ (v.11). The time for severe persecution was coming upon His disciples, and the same will come upon every true Christian. When Christian is faced with trails, he must not lose his “saltiness”. Salt, as we know it, is used for flavor and as a preservative: In Jesus’ day, it’s use as a preservative was vital since they had no refrigeration. Jesus is alluding to believers as salt since they are commissioned to preserve the world from putrefaction and destruction (see also Leviticus 2:13). Any Christian (or any professed Christian nation such as Nagaland state). Who has lost his saltiness – his life in Christ – is worthless. For those who lose the witness of the Holy Spirit are good for nothing and are left to be trodden underfoot by the pagans. How the Christians in Nagaland are utterly “saltless”! The church HAS LOST her saltiness in the presence of her enemies! Clearly, the pagans are trampling the professed Christians to death, spiritually and physically.
Notice that Jesus made reference to two classes of believers those who were accused falsely (v. 11) and those who lost their savor (v.13). Those who lost their saltiness were likened to a certain reality of that day: that is when salt was collected from the Dead Sea region, some of it was good for salting and cooking, while some of it had lost its saltiness. The latter was called “bituminous salt,” which has no other use but to spread in certain locations on the temple floor in order to prevent slipping in wet weather. Hence, the salt that lost its saltiness was literally trodden underfoot.
Nagas, both Christians and non-Christians, have sinned so long, they think either God does not care or He has forgotten about their sins. Foolish thinking! GOD DOES CARE, and HE HAS NOT FORGOTTEN! Hosea 7:2 declares, “And they (God’s people) consider not in their hearts that I (God) remember ALL their wickedness; now their own doings have surrounded them; they are before my face.” There you have it! God remembers ALL their sins. Take a good look at the Family, Church, and State. Sinfulness has multiplied and now literally chokes this once great nation. Enemies surround Nagaland. Satan control Nagaland. Men, women, boys, and girls are literally ADDICTED TO FILTH and VIOLENCE day in and day out. The primary reason for the death of Nagaland is the neglect of the so-called Christians to obey Jesus Christ. The “Christians” locked Jesus out: thus they locked sin in.
For the modern liberal church and the world have become “partners for change,” change for the worst in Nagaland history. Nagaland, the diseased whore, considers her pantheistic, worldly beliefs both all-inclusive and wonderfully tolerant. Yet the Bible clearly tells us in 1 John 2, “love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world”. (v 15,16). The world and the church consider me intolerant since I do not participate in all this satanic, worldly pull. That suits me fine. With all of their supposed tolerance, they certainly don not tolerate my beliefs! In any case, Jesus Christ the Lord commands me, His follower, to love Him alone and never any other.
If Nagaland was so great, as many have claimed, then why do the masses allow liberal perverts to usurp her foundations? Obviously, the dark elements of life never made Nagaland great. Only the bright light of Christianity gave this nation any uprightness, but the Nagas are not mourning its absence.
Jesus Christ alone is life. True followers of God lived the life and taught His birth, death, and resurrection here. That brought His life to overshadow this nation. But over time, Nagaland locked Him out, thereby locking out all life. Nagaland is dead. Thus, I preach a message of repentance to you, the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For His truth should be preached at funerals instead of embellished eulogies about the dead.
